I was just checking out the guest book when I saw a mention of the Christmas lights on the high school. Thanks Becky for remembering that. Those lights hold a very special memory for me because my father designed and, with the help of the wood working shop and his own electrical class students, made certain that those lights were on the school every year for Christmas. He was "Pop" Archer who taught Vocational Electric and related subjects at PHS for many years. Thanks again for bringing back memories of PHS and the Class of '60.

Hey This time of year always
reminds me of the lights on the PHS building no lights ever seemed so bright Well everyear I get a Xmas tree that tries to kill me! Even the live ones.Today mt cat ate a large serving of fresh mozzeralla for lunch.Leaving me a sandwich of mainly bread and lettuc.Thanks,cat. For those of you sho are not local, the Big Reds finished their football regualr season with a 9-1 record. The Seniors on the team enjoyed a 29-1 record during their tenure.
Parkersburg will play Hampshire County on Friday, November 3 in their quest for a second consecutive state AAA championship.

I absolutely cannot tell you how much fun I had at the reunion. I still can't believe I waited 40yrs. to come back home and good old PHS. Seeing all of my old friends and renewing those friendships was more special than I can say. I want to thank everyone who worked so hard to make this such a special reunion. Absolutely everything was perfect. Also, thanks to Sharon Cline and Mary Sue Helmick for all of their hard work to see that we can stay in touch with all of our classmates until me see each other again in 5 years. There just didn't seem to be enough time to see everyone and talk to all of you. If any of you see this, please email me and let's really try to stay in touch. The reunion weekend was GREAT! Erroll and I had a wonderful time, it was so great to see everyone and reminisce. Can't wait until the next one in 2005! It was a quick way to "jump" back in time, when we were 18,then suddenly realize we were
trapped in a 58 plus aged body (rather discouraging). I was so happy to see several friends from my my grade school
days. We went from Lincoln grade school to VanDevender, then to PHS. I know this type of reunion just doesn't happen,
